Aparoksanubhuti is an acclaimed ancient treatise that uniquely presents the Astangayoga practices in the light of AdvaitaVedanta. Adi Sankaracarya uses the same terms in Astangayoga but gives them a new Vedantic meaning in this text, to create a fifteen-step path of Nididhyasana for Self-Realisation. Who am I? What is the nature of this world? Who created this world? What is the purpose of human life? These are the quintessential questions faced by the human mind. A conscientious seeker should try to find out answers to these questions with the teachings of Sadguru and Upani ads. He should carefully reflect on the difference between the worldly knowledge and the Pure Knowledge of Atman. When a seeker learns, assimilates and applies the teachings of Vedanta in day-to-day life, he can attain Aparoksanubhuti and realise Pure Bliss as his true nature. After that, scriptural studies and spiritual practices take a backseat, and Blissful life takes the centre-stage. When spirituality is used in everyday situations, the life becomes glorious, meaningful and sublime in a true sense.
